Top 5 Baseball Betting Apps Reviewed
Finding the right betting app can be tricky, so we have given you mini-reviews of our top five. In light of this information, we hope you can gain an overview of what each operator offers and how that matches up with your needs and wants.
1. BetOnline – Live Streaming MLB Games a Key Feature
Since giving its site and app a major upgrade, BetOnline has to be considered a ‘big leagues’ player when it comes to baseball betting sportsbooks. The app in particular looks and feels superb. It’s easy to install and navigate, organized logically, and presents bettors with an abundance of stats and analytics, particularly in the live betting section.
BetOnline is amongst the earliest to publish baseball futures odds, while every MLB game has dedicated lines. Furthermore, as well as the MLB, other major international baseball leagues are covered such as Nippon Professional Baseball in Japan. Plus, perhaps most importantly, BetOnline has the most competitive odds of any sportsbook in our list.
The BetOnline baseball betting app also offers a host of great promotions for new and seasoned bettors. As usual, we recommend new players check out the current promo codes for BetOnline to choose the best offer suitable for them.
What we like:
- Live streaming MLB betting app and quality video feed
- The updated app runs quickly, is well-organized, and looks great
- Superb value on baseball betting odds – often the pick of the bunch
- Live baseball betting app crammed full of stats and metrics
What we don’t:
- The app works well but the website can take a while to load
2. BetNow – One of the Best Baseball Apps for the World Series
When it comes to MLB betting apps, BetNow cannot be overlooked. After all, BetNow is first-rate when it comes to US sports, including the MLB, while the site also has a wide variety of markets and competitive odds.
Whatever type of bets you prefer to place on baseball, you will find a healthy offering at BetNow. Of course, there are plenty of futures, spreads, moneylines, and props for every MLB game throughout the season as well as the World Series as a whole.
BetNow is a solid choice for an MLB betting app from start to end but it really comes to life during the World Series. Furthermore, BetNow goes all out by offering a whole host of exciting prop bets, extensive live betting options, and promotional offers which can add even more exhilaration to matches.
New users can use our BetNow promo codes to boost their initial bankroll, while the industry-leading rebate scheme on losing sportsbook bets is a huge attraction. Likewise, there are a range of other offers available too.
What we like:
- Great markets on the World Series
- Live betting available
- Some of the best baseball betting odds
- Easy to navigate website/app
- Great loyalty reward bonuses including rebate scheme
What we don’t:
- Welcome bonus lower than other sites
3. Bovada – Stylish Baseball Betting App & Deep Markets
Bovada certainly has one of the most stylish baseball betting apps around. Likewise, the user interface and graphics – particularly when live betting – look great, while the whole layout is highly intuitive.
This site also has markets on many baseball leagues, not just the MLB, while creating parlay bets in the app is also a breeze. Generally, there is a wide range of baseball betting lines available (moneyline, run line, total points), with competitive odds and top prop markets too.
Furthermore, our Bovada bonus codes unlock generous welcome packages for both casino and sportsbook bettors too, so they are well worth checking out.
What we like:
- Wide range of MLB markets, along with other baseball leagues
- Highly competitive baseball betting odds
- The best app in terms of graphics & user interface
- Mobile & live baseball betting
What we don’t:
- Great for crypto but does offer fewer banking options than the competition
4. Everygame – One of the Best Live Baseball Betting Apps
The revamped Everygame sportsbook and betting app is easy to download, simple to install and navigate, and has a range of excellent promotions for Sports, Casino, and Poker fans. Parlay bets are easy to create while bettors can also get an insight into what other MLB fans are betting on.
Where baseball is concerned, Everygame has competitive odds for every MLB game, while the live betting area updates quickly. Everygame has all of the betting lines you would expect, while its trusted reputation comes from being in the industry for over 20 years.
Besides all this, newcomers to this baseball betting app can use our Everygame sports bonus codes to get a range of top welcome bonuses.
What we like:
- Highly competitive baseball betting odds
- Red hot in-play offers are available during live betting
- Easy to make parlay bets
- Simple app to install, use, and navigate
- Plenty of bonus codes and special offers
What we don’t:
- Onboarding bonuses aren’t as lucrative as some of the competition
5. MyBookie – One of the Best Baseball Betting Apps for MLB Odds
MyBookie’s baseball betting app is an excellent choice for the more traditional bettor whose focus is more on value than style.
In truth, the app’s user interface, display, and graphics are beginning to look dated and could use an upgrade, but that’s where the complaints end. The MyBookie app is easy to download and install, is well organized, and is also easy to navigate. By the same token, it offers baseball betting lines for every MLB contest, the Nippon League (Japan), and has highly competitive baseball betting odds.
The user-friendly MyBookie app is crammed full of baseball betting info to help you make the right decisions including MLB betting picks and tips on many of the key games.
Our MyBookie promo codes can give bettors access to a range of promotions, including the site’s generous welcome bonuses.
What we like:
- Live baseball betting available for all MLB games
- Pages crammed full of strategy guides and baseball betting tips
- Highly competitive baseball betting odds
- Deep prop markets for live in-play MLB betting
What we don’t:
- Late to update World Series odds

What are the Best Selling Points of Baseball Betting Apps?
Obviously, we’re interested in the number of available markets and the competitiveness of the odds. However, this is more to do with the sportsbook in general and less to do with the app itself. When we’re ranking our favorite baseball betting apps, we focus more on criteria like trust, ease of download, ease of use, visuals, speed, and payments.
An app that fails to deliver in any of these categories isn’t worth downloading. After all, it doesn’t matter how great the MLB betting odds are if you can’t perform basic functions on the app. Here is a breakdown of our criteria:
- Trust – We only recommend safe, verified baseball betting apps that are legally entitled to operate in the US. These provide good customer service and protect your data and money. Every app in this list passes this test.
- Ease of Download – Simple, quick downloads and easy installations are a must.
- Ease of Use – The last thing you want when trying to place a bet is log in issues. Live odds that are slow to update might cause you to miss an opportunity, while irrelevant pop-ups are never a hit. Therefore, the sites we recommend all offer a good customer experience.
- Visuals – We prefer an app that includes baseball-related imagery, has a slick user interface, and puts effort into its live betting graphics. It must be remembered that none of this will necessarily help you win money, but it does make for a superior user experience.
- Speed – An app that loads quickly and provides up-to-the-minute news and odds is very important.
- Payments – Customer service is key and having a range of deposit and withdrawal methods is part of this. Bookmakers that let you add or remove funds through options like credit cards, eWallets, cryptocurrencies, and checks score highly with us.

WestSouthWestMidWestNorthEastSouthEastBest Baseball Betting App for iPhone
Of all the baseball betting apps on our list, Bovada is the best on iPhone.
After all, the Bovada app’s betting interface is slicker than all rivals, as are the live betting graphics and presentation of betting options.
When it comes to baseball, it’s hard to imagine another app containing as many markets and prop betting options. You can bet on a number of leagues from around the globe throughout the year too. The odds, while not always the best, are certainly competitive.
Finally, if you are a fan of cryptocurrencies, there are crypto-oriented Bovada bonus codes where you can get extra value on your bets. Given these points, we rate Bovada highly.
Best Baseball Betting App for Android
The new and improved BetOnline app is probably the most compatible with Android devices.
Visually it’s up there with the Bovada app, especially with regards to the live betting graphics and the volume and presentation of useful baseball statistics. It’s also really easy to navigate: the layout is simple and there isn’t much clutter.
However, this sportsbook definitely goes the extra mile with live betting. It features up-to-the-minute odds on a multitude of events and it’s possible to live stream MLB games in real-time while you bet. We feel that, when wagering using your mobile device, it’s probably the live betting aspect that’s the most important, which is why we give this app the advantage.
On top of this, this is a sportsbook that serves up plenty of extras. The BetOnline bonus codes can be lucrative, so don’t forget to keep checking back for the latest offers.

Understanding Baseball Betting Lines & Odds
The main difference between baseball betting lines and those of other US sports is the presence of the run line.
To learn more about the run line, as well as all the other game lines and how the odds work for each, we implore you to read this next segment.
Baseball Moneyline Wagers
This is basically a market on which team will win. In the picture above, the moneyline odds for the Philadelphia Phillies are -114 and the Washington Nationals are +104. A number preceded by a minus symbol is the betting favorite and means that you must bet that amount (in this case $114) to win $100.
Meanwhile, a number preceded by a plus sign means that should you wager $100, you will win that figure. So in this case, a $100 bet on the Nationals would pay out $104 in profit.
Baseball Runline Wagers
This line is only found in baseball.
There often aren’t many runs in an MLB game, while many matches are highly contested, so big point spreads just don’t work. As a consequence, the runline is basically a low total spread that’s pretty much always set at 1.5 runs. As with any spread, the favorite is challenged to win by more than 1.5 runs (-1.5) while the underdog is tasked to win the game or lose by fewer than 1.5 runs (+1.5).
In the above image courtesy of BetUS, you’ll notice that the underdogs, the Nationals, have been set odds of -155 to win or lose by fewer than 1.5 runs.
Baseball Total Points Markets
Here, oddsmakers set an Over/Under (O/U) number based on the total number of runs they expect the two teams to score combined. The bettor decides whether or not the teams will come in over or under that figure. In the example above, we have O8.5 and U8.5.
This means if the bettor wagers on U8.5, they are betting on under 8.5 runs being scored in total in the game. So, if the game were to finish Phillies 4-2 Nationals, the bettor would win. If the game were to finish 5-4 to the Phillies, the bettor would lose.
Baseball Betting Moneyline Odds Comparison
A huge part of any successful betting strategy is locating the best odds for the lines you’re planning to wager on. It’s for this reason that we suggest signing up to multiple sportsbooks. You only have to make small deposits to join most of them, you’ll be given bonuses each time you do sign up, and registering at 3-4 separate baseball betting apps leaves you perfectly poised to take advantage of the best odds available.
In the table below, you’ll see a selection of odds for the 2024 MLB World Series. The best odds for each team have been highlighted in bold. Note that, at the time of writing, the 2023 World Series had just finished so the odds for the 2024 edition weren’t yet available at most sportsbooks.

Not yet available As you can see, BetOnline is currently offering the best odds on the World Series, with Bovada being somewhat weaker.
MyBookie runs off MLB Vegas Odds and always has great live betting odds, so we’re confident enough to say that once this sportsbook does put up its world series numbers, it’ll be highly competitive. The same can be said for both BetNow and Everygame, who often post competitive odds.
The key thing to take away from this is that it’s important to shop around, especially if you’re planning on putting down big money. This is because a slight differences in odds can lead to $100s and $1000s of differences in profits/losses.
Baseball Betting Futures
Futures (or outright) bets are exactly as they sound – bettors are wagering on an event that concludes way into the future, sometimes as much as a year away.
Here are some top futures examples:
Baseball Team Betting Futures:
- World Series Winners
- National League Pennant Winners
- American League Pennant Winners
- Divisional Futures (National League: East, Central, & West … American League: East, Central, & West)
Baseball Player Betting Futures:
- MLB MVP Award Winner
- American League MVP Award Winner
- National League MVP Award Winner
- Golden Gloves Award
- Silver Slugger
- Most Regular Season Home Runs in MLB/NL/AL
- Pitcher with Most Strikeouts
- Manager of the Year
This is by no means an exhaustive list and baseball betting sites such as BetUS and Bovada, which famously have many prop betting markets, are likely to feature extra team/player futures options during the MLB postseason. For that reason, we recommend these two sites in particular.
Baseball Specials/Props
All of the best baseball betting apps feature a plethora of extra betting options via their prop betting markets. These markets tend to get even more creative during the postseason and, especially, the World Series.
Prop bets in the MLB are numerous, but here are the most common:
Baseball Team Prop Betting Options
- Team totals
- Alternate totals/run lines
- First 3/5/7 innings moneylines, spreads, and totals
- Moneylines, run lines, and totals on the first innings
Baseball Player Prop Betting Options
- Player innings moneylines and totals
- Total hits, runs, and RBIs
- Player hits + runs
- Number of strikeouts thrown by the pitcher
- Player head-to-heads (total points scored/strikeouts)
- Will player X hit a home run (simple Yes/No bet)
Some baseball betting sportsbooks sell themselves on the range of prop markets offered. Therefore, it is common to see sportsbooks such as BetUS highlight extra prop bets, especially during the World Series.
Likewise, other MLB prop examples found on BetUS include over/under markets on the number of home runs in a game/innings, and races to 2, 3, 4, 5 runs.

Baseball Live Betting
First introduced in 2002, live baseball betting has taken the gambling world by storm. After all, modern bettors love the fast and furious pace, rapid shifts in odds, and just the sheer thrill of wagering in play.
When live betting on baseball, expect to see odds drift and shorten almost constantly. As each player strikes out or hits a homer, oddsmakers adjust the odds, and this can result in a chance to secure lucrative winnings.
BetOnline is the best live baseball betting app on our list on balance. It has the very best odds and live streams MLB games too, meaning you can watch the action unfold in real-time next to your on-screen wagers.
Baseball Betting Promotions
The sportsbook gambling world is highly competitive so sports betting apps have a range of promotions and bonuses to encourage new customers to sign up.
The key welcome bonuses are listed below, but check out each individual site in detail as there are many more on offer.
- BetOnline – 50% up to $1,000 welcome bonus
- BetNow – 100% up to $1,000 welcome bonus
- Bovada – 75% up to $750 welcome bonus
- Everygame – 100% up to $500 welcome bonus
- MyBookie – 50% welcome deposit bonus up to $1,000
Extra Features of the Best Baseball Betting Apps
On top of all the aforementioned specifications and betting lines, the very best baseball betting sportsbooks contain a number of other features.
Some examples include:
- Blogs & baseball betting picks – The best baseball betting apps give their customers instant access to detailed news articles, baseball betting strategies, picks, and tips. MyBookie is one such sportsbook. Featuring a host of blogs, vlogs, and detailed breakdowns of all sports betting markets, it’s chock-full of news and useful baseball betting info. You can use this to guide your own betting strategies.
- Stats – Particularly when wagering in play, it’s crucial to have fast access to stats. Bovada is a solid example of a baseball betting sportsbook that takes analytics seriously. Users can check things like previous meetings between the teams, recent records (home & away), player performances, in-game performances (home runs/bunts/pitches/strikeouts), and much more.
- Competitions – Some of the best baseball betting sports apps run competitions alongside the MLB action. For example, BetOnline has a $10,000 MLB Pick’Em competition.
Baseball Betting Tips
No matter which of the baseball betting sites you end up joining, making a profit is no walk in the park and the risk of losses is real. However, the MLB is definitely one of the easier sports to master, provided you have a proper betting strategy.
The reason for this is that Major League Baseball features more games than just about any other sport and has a wider selection of lines and prop bets as a result. As a result, bettors can afford to be picky. Furthermore, there are many more up-to-date stats at your disposal, which tend to be more reliable barometers of future chances.
Successful gambling is all about study, preparation, and luck. While we can’t guarantee that the extra games/lines in the MLB will boost your bank balance, if you do your research and bet wisely, then you will have a greater chance of success.
On that note, here are three key baseball betting strategies to get you started.
1. Look for Underdog Value
There’s not usually a world of difference between the top and bottom teams in the MLB. Generally, in a 162-game season, the best team might go 105-57 and the worst team 75-87 – so not far off a 50.00 win ratio either way.
From this, we discern that poorer teams always have a chance of taking a prized scalp in the MLB. So, it’s possible to find plenty of value on the underdogs when scanning through the baseball betting lines.
Of course, you’ll have to couple this strategy with research too. After all, you need to consider which team pitches first, which makes more errors, and which has the weaker hitters batting towards the end. Betting on a plucky underdog with inviting odds is hardly a rocket-science baseball betting tip, but it is known to work and, thus, worth implementing.
2. Avoid Betting on Heavy Favorites
MLB favorites that are on the moneyline at -150 or higher should be consistently avoided. We use the word ‘consistently’ because, of course, if you’ve done your research and you’re highly confident this favorite is going to come in, sure, go for it! But don’t keep doing it.
By sticking with -150 favorites, you’re going to have to win about 60% of the time to actually make a profit… and playoff teams usually only have a win rate of about 55% to 60%.
And that’s just at -150 – if you see odds at -300 or -450, again these are best avoided.
3. MLB’s TV Curse!
Following on from the last baseball betting tip, the most famous teams in the MLB have particularly bad odds when they feature on TV. For example, if the Yankees are on at prime time, more recreational bettors jump on the moneyline and drive the price up. By and large, this means you’re likely to get worse odds than you generally would have.
Again, if you’ve done your research and you’re positive that Aaron Judge is going to hit a home run and New York is going to win, fine – place your bets. But remember that in the long run, continuously accepting bad odds is setting yourself up for failure. In general, you will lose more money than you win.
The above are just three common baseball betting strategies implemented by seasoned bettors, but there are others. If you have a strategy that works for you, then that’s great, just make sure you have done your homework and always seek to preserve capital. Equally important, we recommend reading all of the baseball betting tips you can get your hands on to ensure you’re making an informed decision before you get your wallet out. Furthermore, baseball betting sites such as MyBookie and BetUS easily enable bettors to do this, so take advantage of it!
All in all, you’ll feel better about the whole process if you do.

Preseason February-March Seoul Series March 20-21 Opening Game March 28 MLB Draft July MLB All-Star Game July 16 End of Regular Season September 29 MLB Playoffs Begins October 1 World Series October, ends no later than November 2 Best Baseball Betting Apps Conclusion
Each of the apps listed in our top 10 is safe and verified. Chiefly, they pay out swiftly, they protect your personal information, and all are compatible with both Android and iOS devices. As the entire top 10 is based offshore, all are available in the vast majority of American states too.
To conclude, we believe that the BetOnline baseball betting app is the pick of the bunch. Firstly, it’s a breeze to download, the installation process is simple, it’s easy to navigate, and contains baseball betting lines for multiple leagues with competitive odds.
However, it was the live betting markets that most impressed us. This included the plethora of stats, the ability to live stream MLB games via the app, and just the overall presentation on both operating systems.
Of course, BetOnline is just our top pick. The choice is yours and, ultimately, the best MLB betting app is the one that best suits your needs.

Play Now Best MLB Betting Apps: FAQs
How do you bet on the MLB?
There are many options for betting on the MLB, from moneylines and runlines to a range of prop bets. Check out more detailed information in the article above.
Where can I bet on MLB games?
There are many reputable sports betting sites and apps where you can bet on MLB games. BetOnline, BetNow, and Bovada are our top three but we would recommend any on our top 10 list.
Which is the best MLB betting app?
All of the sites reviewed on this page are of superb quality and worthy of consideration. However, overall we rate BetOnline as the best MLB betting app for its stylish and simple design coupled with the availability of live betting markets and excellent odds on offer. BetOnline also has HD-quality live streaming of baseball games from around the world.
What does ‘Action’ mean in MLB betting?
When you take ‘Action’ on an MLB match it means you are wagering on a squad to win regardless of whoever takes the mound. So if you take moneyline action on the Atlanta Braves with Max Fried listed as the pitcher, but Spencer Strider takes to the mound instead, your bet will still stand. The opposite of an ‘action’ bet is a limited bet. With limited bets, if there is a change to the listed pitcher then your bet would be canceled and your stake returned.
