Our expert team goes through each platform while ranking them individually to ensure that they adhere to only the highest betting standards. From user interface and bonuses, to live betting, banking, and more, here are the points we look for when analyzing the best Oregon sports betting app interfaces.
Mobile Betting Experience
When it comes to Oregon betting apps, the overall experience is key. Morning lines, futures, props, and helpful statistics should be visible on the mobile screen.

Live betting functionality should run seamlessly on any smartphone, and provide all the latest markets, odds, and real-time metrics for players to make strategic decisions on live events.
However, while some mobile sites offer live streaming, the practice hasn’t been universally adopted. So, naturally, we tend to favor those Oregon sports betting apps that do.

Licensing & Security
Finally, the right licensing and security are the cornerstones of any leading Oregon mobile app. When signing up, you want to ensure that your account is protected at all times and that your funds and personal information are never compromised. Look for sites with registered licenses, SSL certificates, end-to-end encryption, 2FA, and other core protocols.
Who can Bet on Sports in Oregon?
At the time of this article, Oregon only permits two Tribal Indian Casinos to accept retail sports wagers, but the bill to allow online sportsbook wagers on college sports is still in motion.

You’ll be directed to a form asking you to fill out a few key personal details including your name and surname, email address, unique password, and date of birth. Once completed, hit the “Create Account” button.

OR Betting Apps & Mobile Sites for iPhone & Android
Currently, DraftKings is the only dedicated Oregon sports betting app, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a world-class, mobile-optimized experience with any of our top ten sportsbooks. Here we’ll run through each operating system and see which is the best gambling app.
Android
Each platform works to craft a smooth, intuitive mobile experience, complete with all the markets, odds and offers that you’ll find on a desktop interface. All of the above sites are fully compatible with Android devices.
The Google Play store still enforces restrictions on sports betting and gambling apps. For this reason, you’ll need to download any Android-focused sports betting apps from the sportsbook or gaming platform directly. You can navigate to the app subsection and follow the installation steps.
iPhone
Certain states will let you download sports betting apps directly from the App Store. Currently, Oregon allows downloads for DraftKings and Fanduel. However, you can still log in to any of the above Oregon sports betting app platforms and wager on the mobile web interface.
iPhone and Android offer a near-identical mobile betting experience where the respective platforms offer easy navigation and a strong betting experience complete with viewable bet slips, bonuses, deposit options, and market lines.
Mobile Site vs App for Betting in Oregon
While similar in many respects, mobile-optimized web pages and standalone mobile apps have a few key differences. Most sportsbooks will have restrictions on where and how users can download Oregon sports betting apps, so the most common choice is a mobile-optimized website. Below you’ll find a short comparison between the two.
Sports Betting Mobile Site
These days, any leading sportsbook is fully optimized for mobile. More bettors than ever are logging in from their smartphones and a slow-loading, dysfunctional mobile interface will lose player loyalty fast.
If you’re looking for smooth integration, easy navigation, visible dropdowns, and fast loading speeds, then mobile sites are the way to go. You’ll get all the same leading features as you would on a desktop with the added benefits of wagering and playing on the go.
What we like:
- Real-time access from your mobile device
- A seamless, enjoyable betting experience
- Strong compatibility with iOS and Android
- All the same leading offers, and incentives
- No code or additional downloads required
What we don’t:
- No added security protocols
- Susceptible to site/webpage maintenance
Sports Betting Mobile App
You can either download your Oregon sports betting app on the iStore (where applicable) or through the sports betting platform directly. Set up takes a little more time when downloading code from the site but the app is usually well laid out and intuitive once you’re up and running.
Remember that most apps will be unavailable to download in Oregon and you’ll need to be selective in your decision-making. Currently, only Fanduel and DraftKings are considered public domain. But it is also possible to convert any one of the offshore betting sites mentioned in our reviews into an app with minimal fuss, as we will demonstrate.
What we like:
- Designed specifically for smartphones
- App-specific promos and incentives
- User-friendly interface/integration
- Additional security layers like touch ID
- Lower bandwidth
What we don’t:
- Requires downloading steps
- Takes up device storage space

Step1: Login to the Mobile Betting Homescreen
Head over to your chosen sportsbook’s mobile interface (we’ll use BetOnline and iPhone as an example).
Step 2: Open the Browser Menu
Tap on the browser menu at the bottom of the mobile screen. For Android devices, this button can be found in the top right-hand corner instead.
Step 3: Navigate to the Home Screen

Step 4: Confirm
A small box will appear prompting you to “Add” the shortcut to your iPhone home screen. Tap once to confirm.
Step 5: Start the App
And, you’re done! You can now access the BetOnline shortcut on your iPhone home screen. Log in any time and place pics on all the best markets.
Is Sports Betting Legal in Oregon?
Yes, sports betting is regulated in Oregon. Ever since SCOTUS overturned the 1992 PASPA laws, Oregon has been moving towards legal sports betting. However, legal online sports betting is offered by the Oregon State Lottery as Oregon chose to legalize sports betting in reverse order when compared to most other US states.
As it stands, the official sports betting app for the state is branded and now run by DraftKings. They officially replaced the former Scoreboard app controlled by the Oregon State Lottery this year. But, Oregonians still can’t use this app to gamble on college sports. BetMGM does have a sportsbook app operating in Oregon, but Oregonians can only use it inside the Spirit Mountain Casino.
Oregon currently has two Tribal Indian Casinos for retail sports bets. We list them for you.
- Spirit Mountain Casino – Operates out of Grand Ronde
- Chinook Wind Casino Resorts – Oregonians can easily place sports wagers through the Sports Wagering Lounge

Supporters
Oregon’s state legislature has received tremendous support for state sports gambling from the historic colleges in the state. Duck football is prominent for Oregonians, as is Oregon State athletics. In addition, elite sports apps like BetMGM and fantasy sports titans like DraftKings strongly support Oregon sports betting.
Opponents
Many of Oregon’s Tribal Indians oppose the passage of Senate Bill 1503. According to Justin Martin, a representative of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Senate Bill 1503 would pull funds away from Oregon’s Native American tribes.
Previous Sports Betting Bills in Oregon
In 2019, Oregon successfully lifted most of the barriers to organized sports gambling. Right now, bills are circulating in the state congress to expand Oregon sports further betting. We break those down for you.

How Oregon Online Sports Betting Competes Against Rival States
Washington, California, and Nevada border Oregon, and they all have legal sports gambling. California sportsbooks and Washington sportsbooks allow for college sports wagers. These states permit sports bets at Tribal Casinos.
Nevada sportsbooks became the first in America to drop the sports betting ban. Oregonians can travel here to gamble on college sports if they don’t want to sign up at a betting site.
Casinos with Sports Betting in Oregon
While you will find plenty of brick-and-mortar casinos scattered throughout Oregon, you won’t find much in the way of sports betting. This is because legal sports betting is still fairly new.
