Out of Bounds: Time to Look Back
The Funny, Stupid Thing of the Day
In honor of Late Show host David Letterman announcing he’ll be stepping down after a stellar career in television, check out this interview he did with a 23-year-old Michael Jordan in 1986. Amazing to see how big of a star M.J. was at such a young age and, of course, Letterman not being afraid to poke some fun at His Airness. Jordan’s swag and 80’s style sure made for a “unique” combination.
Dunk of the Night
It’s not like we’re always covering HEAT forward LeBron James; but it’s so difficult when he pulls stuff like this out of his back pocket. Poor Bucks forward Ekpe Udoh swore he made the right choice until he started sinking and LeBron kept soaring.
Tattoo of the Night

Getting tattoos of athletes is walking a thin line between showing you’re a true fan and just being creepy. It’s certainly not creepy to Pistons forward Charlie Villanueva as he takes a photo with CLEARLY his biggest fan who has not one, but two tattoos of Charlie V. Let’s keep the negative comments to ourselves everyone and be happy that this guy got to meet his hero.
Vine of the Night
In what is a really incredible display of athleticism, Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo took only three dribbles to go the length of the court and and got the bucket as bonus. Keep watching “The Greek Freak” and you will be entertained.
Dime of the Night
Wow, even Lance Stephenson knew he got flashy with this between-the-legs pass for the score by Ian Mahinmi. The Pacers guard pulled one of the moves he hardened on the Coney Island playgrounds to pump up his team and the fans.
Handles of the Night
While Lance put on a show with his passes, check out Knicks guard Iman Shumpert put on a show with his handles. In a clear mismatch, Shumpert busted out a sweet behind-the-back crossover on the way to the bucket against hapless Nets forward Mirza Teletovic.
