Out of Bounds: Time for Playoffs
Dunks of the Night
As the NBA regular season came to a close last night, it ended with some pretty spectacular rim-rattling jams. The first features Bobcats guard Gerald Henderson redeem one of the most embarrassing fails of the year with this thunderous throw-down against Bulls center Joakim Noah. Put that in your memory bank Gerald, people don’t embarrass Noah like that very often.
Next, Suns rookie guard Archie Goodwin may not get the experience of being in the playoffs this year, but he gets to know what it looks like to slam on two Kings players. Kings center Aaron Gray was smart to leave that alone.
Circus Shots of the Year
Nothing makes fans jump in excitement or groan with frustration then a made circus shot in the NBA. Check out this mix of some of the best; we guarantee you’ll need to see a couple twice.
Vine of the Day
Want to know how Rockets guard Patrick Beverley has the quick hands and tight ball-handling skills? Practice, practice and more practice. Awesome to see an NBA player still putting time in to work on his fundamentals. High school players need to add this to their practice routine right now.
Dime of the Night
If your team isn’t going to playoffs, you might as well try some fancy plays. Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio did just that with an this great behind-the-back pass to teammate Gorgui Dieng for the dunk.
