The Funny, Stupid Thing of the Day

Rockets center Dwight Howard hilariously points out how much resemblance his teammate Patrick Beverley has with Captain Phillips star and Academy Award-nominee  Barkhad Abdi. Good catch Dwight, they definitely look like they could be long-lost brothers.

Shot of the Night

This is an undisputed decision for shot of the night, right? While the Grizzlies managed to pull out the win in overtime last night against the Thunder, Kevin Durant did everything he could to sneak out of there with the win. Who didn’t slap themselves after Durant hit this and-one three as he was falling down? Incredibly clutch, but the Grizzlies just kept grinding to steal a win in Oklahoma City.

Throwback Tuesday

With the playoff beginning with some seriously entertaining games, let’s look back to one of the most dominant performances of all-time. Back in 1992, Bulls legend Michael Jordan did his usual 45-point slaughtering of an over-matched HEAT team. His teammate Scottie Pippen was almost just as dominant by chipping in 30 points for the Bulls win. The HEAT had no answer for either and with both of them feeling hot, this game was decided quickly.

Everyone knows Hawks guard Lou Williams is a tattoo fanatic, but here’s an awesome close-up shot of his chest and arm sleeve tat. Incredible artwork as Lou wears his life story literally on his skin.
