Shaquille O’Neal truly was one of a kind. We may never see quite that mix of size, power and agility again.

It seems that David Robinson’s name is irresponsibly left out of far too many discussions about the great big men over the past 25 years.

Patrick Ewing was also a bad man during his time with the Knicks. He had the inside game, could face up and knock down the mid-range jumper and was also a beast on the defensive end.

Alonzo Mourning may not have been the biggest or strongest player in the post, but you knew he was always going to compete to the fullest and you probable were in for the long night if you weren’t ready for battle.
