The Funny, Stupid Thing of the Night

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZJU7FDYvmE

Admit it, we all watch Charles Barkley because we can’t wait for him to fly off the handle in a rant. Always great TV, Chuck does exactly that during halftime as he calls fans who complained about the “Teamcast” of the Final Four games “idiots.” Very classy Charles, of course poor Ernie Johnson is left to pick up the pieces and try to get things back on track. The guy may have the most difficult job in sports casting as he must be constantly worried what Chuck will drop next.

Dunk of the Night

Bucks guard Brandon Knight showed he not only has speed, but some power with this insane slam. Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas had nothing on B-Knight on that one.

Vine of the Night

In a truly great moment, this Vine caught Kentucky guard Andrew Harrison pass the rock off to his twin brother Aaron and yell for him to take the game-winning shot. Awesome moment for the brothers as Andrew showed complete confidence in his brother to send them to the championship game.

Tweet of the Night

In a very generous act, Wisconsin alum Michael Finley offered free drinks for anybody with a Wisconsin student pass, past or present. I wonder if he kept that offer going after Aaron Harrison crushed their dreams; they certainly needed a drink with that heart-breaking loss.

Former teammates took a moment to honor and recognize the tremendous moment of UConn making the championship game. Allen Iverson gave a warm shout-out to his former 76ers’ teammate and UConn head coach Kevin Ollie. Bobcats guard and former UConn champion Kemba Walker remembered when he was the man for the Huskies, teaching a young freshman by the name of Shabazz Napier the ways. Now, Shabazz is the hero and could lead UConn to a second national championship in four years. Kemba is clearly the proud teacher now.

Swag of the Night

Timberwolves forward Shabazz Muhammad is ready to go with his swag game even on game night. Shabazz lives by the philosophy of if you look good, you’ll play good.

Kings guard Ben McLemore picked some awesome adidas Crazy 8’s for game-day. Black, purple and white are a winning combination to match the Kings color-scheme.
