This offseason, Brown and the Kings agreed to an extension that would keep him Sacramento through the 2027-28 season. Along with the extension, Brown also got a nice pay bump – going from making four million dollars a year to 8.5 million per year.
As of right now, Brown is the seventh-highest paid coach in the NBA (of coaches whose salary is known to us), trailing behind Steve Kerr (17.5 million per year), Gregg Popovich (16 million), Erik Spoelstra (15 million), Tyronn Lue (14 million), Doc Rivers (10 million), and Mike Budenholzer (10 million).
