Back in 2015, the Warriors NBA reign began, as they created one of the most dominant teams in NBA history. After winning their first championship, the club became almost unstoppable when they added Kevin Durant to the mix, earning two more titles and reaching another final.

However, the superstar eventually decided to part ways and was traded out to Brooklyn. Years later, Draymond Green is finally opening up about his relationship with the current Phoenix forward, shedding light on many unknown details.

“Last year, I got suspended with the stuff with (Jusuf) Nurkic, and KD said something that I didn’t like,” Green shared on his own podcast show about the altercation he had with the Suns big man, which resulted in him being suspended for a long period of time.

KD had commented on the situation, even calling Draymond’s punch “insane to see” and then hoping that his former teammate would get the “help he needs.” The Warriors veteran was disappointment with this statement: “I was like, damn, KD’s got my number, and you’re going to go out publicly and feed this narrative of, like, I hope he gets the help he needs, and I was upset about it… I was pissed.”

In spite of this, their relationship improved in recent months. “I saw KD in the off season, and we chopped it up, and man to man, face to face, we chopped it up,” Green assured. “Told him how I felt, he told me how he felt, and he was like, damn, I didn’t think it would be seen that way, I didn’t think it would be taken that way, and we talked about it.”

Ever since they reconnected and put their differences in the past, Durant has been very outspoken when delivering praise for his former co-star. Right after the suns beat the Warriors 113 to 105 last week, the 36-year-old shared hid thoughts on the impact of Draymond’s game.

“When Draymond is at his best, it’s a good balance between being ultra aggressive and being on edge and also just being a cerebral monster that he is,” KD shared when asked about facing Green on the basketball court.

The Phoenix club announced that the veteran star will be out of action for at least 1-2 more weeks due to recent ankle sprain

The news all Phoenix fans were worried about just surfaced the web, announcing that Kevin Durant is expected to miss more time as he continues to sustain a left ankle sprain. Sources have told ESPN that the All-NBA forward should be out for at least one to two more weeks for further evaluation.

Phoenix Suns All-NBA forward Kevin Durant will be re-evaluated in one week due to a left ankle sprain. Durant suffered the injury while landing on a Spurs player’s foot during Phoenix’s win on Tuesday night,” insider Shams Charania reported.

The veteran star  has been averaging 25.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists while shooting 53.6% from the field and 44.9% from 3-point range this 2024-25 campaign, becoming one of the most important players for the club so far.

His injury occurred while he was sprinting downcourt with 4:30 left in the second quarter during Tuesday’s game against San Antonio. The All-Star attempts to cut between two defenders, stepped on one of their foots, and then immediately fell to the floor in pain.
