Take a look at this criteria that determines how we rank and recommend betting sites. It is not the special features that make a sportsbook stand out, we are more likely to highlight those in our reviews. Instead, this list includes the characteristics that any decent betting site should have. Take a look below:
- Range of Bets – When we look at the markets on offer for different matches, there should be plenty of options to choose from. The best betting sites have hundreds of potential bets for popular sports.
- Choice of Events – Regardless of how many sports are in the sportsbook, the ones they do offer should have worldwide cup competitions and leagues.
- Bonus & Promotions – Of course, we expect to see a generous welcome bonus. We also expect there to be plenty of ongoing promotions. It is a good sign when a betting site rewards returning customers.
- Safety & Security – We look for Missouri sports gambling sites using the latest SSL encryption technology. This ensures they will keep your data safe when it is transmitted. It is ideal if they tell you how they will store and use your data.
- Payment Methods – All we expect is variety. Websites that support conventional payment options should be willing to accept credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and at least one external payment platform. Crypto casinos need to take a wide range of coins to cater for all, there should be stablecoins and altcoins available.
- Customer Support – We recommend Missouri sports gambling sites that have multiple channels of communication. We look for an email address, a phone number, and a live chat box. There should also be a short time between sending a message and getting a response.

Popular Missouri Online Sports Betting Markets
The sports bets you place online will fall into one of these different categories. We have also recommended a sportsbook that is most suitable for betting on this market.
- Moneyline Bets – These are bets that wager on who will win a one-off match in any league or competition. BetOnline, our highly recommended online betting site is a great place to find moneyline bets.
- Spread Betting – Bet on a single team to win an individual match but with a handicap for or against them. BetUS provides a lot of statistics that will help you make informed decisions on your spread bets.
- Totals – Betting on the total number of points scored in a single match by both teams. The statistics at BetUS can also help you place informed total bets.
- Prop Bets – Any wager not directly related to the outcome or result of a single match. A good example of this are markets like the number of bookings or the number of yards rushed by one player or team. TG Casino has a lot of prop bet markets.
- Futures – Regarding any wager that has an outcome further into the future than a day or week. These might be called outright wagers because they often regard the outright winner of a competition or award. You can quickly find a selection of futures betting odds in the BetNow sidebar.
- Parlays – You can combine multiple bets into one to create a parlay. All of the bets must win for the parlay to payout. Everygame and BetOnline are running great parlay offers.
- Live Betting – Also known as in-play betting, this involves betting on a match that is live when you make the bet. Everygame and BetWhale live multiviews are useful for live bettors.
