The Los Angeles Lakers rounded out new coach Byron Scott’s staff on Tuesday, announcing that Paul Pressey, Jim Eyen and Mark Madsen will be assistant coaches.

“I’m excited to have completed my staff with a group of individuals who each possess unique skills, but all share my vision for the future of this team,” Scott said in a statement.

Pressey formerly was an assistant under Scott with the New Orleans Hornets (2007-10) and Cleveland Cavaliers (2010-13). He also has coaching experience with the Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, Orlando Magic and Boston Celtics, helping the Spurs capture their first title in 1999.

“Paul is a great basketball mind with vast experience,” Scott said.

Eyen was a Lakers assistant coach under Pat Riley and Mike Dunleavy from 1989-90 to 1990-92. He also worked under Dunleavy with the Milwaukee Bucks from 1992-96, the Portland Trail Blazers from 1997-2001, and the Los Angeles Clippers from 2003-09.

From 2009-13, Eyen was on the Sacramento Kings’ coaching staff.

The Lakers also announced the appointment of Clay Moser (assistant coach/head advance NBA scout), Larry Lewis (assistant coach/director of player development), Thomas Scott (assistant coach/player development), Tom Bialaszewski (video coordinator/coach), and J.J. Outlaw (video coordinator/player development).

Thomas Scott is Byron’s son. He is a former assistant coach with the NBA Development League’s Los Angeles D-Fenders.

In addition, the Lakers promoted Rondre Jackson to director of player development and hired Jordan Wilkes as basketball operations assistant.
